St. Peter’s Catholic School Earlyact Club is off to a great start! In this photo AG Eric Davis holds Yoda’s staff for the students to touch as they promise to do Service Above Self. Master Yoda, a centuries-old member of the esteemed Dagobah Rotary Club, lent the staff to Eric for the member induction ceremony. The students could feel The Force urging them to do good in the world!

August was a busy month for the Rotary of the Vista Night! We always appreciate our weekly speakers but this month was extra special. Todd Ellis (@toddellissc), the Play-by-Play announcer for the South Carolina Game Cocks and the host of “Carolina Calls with Steve Spurrier” & “The Steve Spurrier Show” was a guest speaker. We are excited to announce that he was inducted as an honorary member of the Rotary of the Vista Night.

Each spring the Rotary of the Vista Night hosts a fundraiser for a local non-profit. This year the Garden Party supported the hard work of Hidden Wounds. In August we were happy to provide a check for over $5000 to this great organization.

The 2015 Garden Party beneficiary applications are now available! Do you know a charity that would be a great match? Applications are due back by November 1st.
